unlike any other german rock trio ’surrogat’ spattered pure energy all over the place. whereas other bands simply played their instruments, ’surrogat’ would deliver straight bolts from some unique world of destruction, rough songs made from old post-punk german agression and feedback. the sheer force of ’surrogat’ music is overwhelming. after the last record ‘hell in hell’ surrogat eventually left earth looking for a different planet. sadly they were never seen again.
