a very special and purposeful lack of tension pervades the album, tracks seem to drift along at the pleasant pace of an afternoon stroll with a subtle mix of keyboard sounds and phased guitar. money mark contributes keyboards for two of the songs. there are echoes of air, elliot smith, beta band and stereolab. an air of dreamy melancholy is reflected in the songs whilst sweet psychedelic vocals are reminiscent of ween (boomkat)
