After releasing two albums quiet singer & songwriter records at Kitty-yo, Raz Ohara now feels home in the clubs, collaborating with oustanding producers like Luomo (aka Vladislav Delay), Alexander Kowalski and Matthias Schaffhäuser.
You might remember the original version of "Hymn" from the 2004 Kitty-Yo anniversary compilation featuring the melancholy accordion and an amount of travel bug.
Now we asked our folks from Jahcoozi to transform "Hymn". They did and turned the track into mr.oizo loopmonster without loosing the sweet sadness of the original. Richard Davis interweaves "Hymn in a warm wafting house track and further on glows with best acid on the b-side.
Finally Litwinenko servers us a darkly groaning thunderstorm of sound... an autumn-hymn for all "Weekend Warriors".
